Hundreds of people visited a stall organised by volunteers from the Museum of Policing in Cheshire at the weekend.
The stall was one of the highlights of the two-day Stockton Heath Festival at the Festival Field. Organisers say more than 3,000 people enjoyed the variety of stalls, games, music and entertainments.
Museum volunteers offered visitors the chance to dress up in hats and capes, hear about museum attractions and buy a souvenir.
Information about the museum’s Open Fridays from 10am to 3pm on August 8, 15, 22 and 29 was available. Everyone is invited to join in.
PCSO Colin Blanchard was also on hand to offer crime prevention advice and take souvenir fingerprints for youngsters.
The museum, in Arpley Street, Warrington, is looking for volunteers to train as tour guides. Anyone interested should contact lesley.wilkinson@cheshire.police.uk
